SO, better late than never. Thanksgiving was so much fun up at the Redd Cabin. It was so nice of them to have the family come up to the cabin and enjoy eachothers company. Here are a few shots of the day. We spent Thursday morning preparing the food, playing games, and talking. What a wonderful feast it was! Thanks Uncle Hugh and Aunt Cindy!!!

DEER VALLEY

A few weekends ago, our friend Nancy, who works for Sorenson Capital was in charge of the company Christmas party. It was up at a place called Timber Lodge in Deer Valley. Nancy asked molly, joc and I to come along and be the babysitters. I must say it was a blast getting to the top of the moutain in my car... no four wheel drive, a blizzard and more ice patches than the honda could handle. What more could you ask for besides an accident waiting to happen. Needless to say, we had fun watching 4 babies under the age of 7 months. At one point Molly and I each had a crying newborn in each hand while we waited for Joc to come up and help us. I have a new appreciation for motherhood and feel blessed that I was only the babysitter. Our payment for babysitting was a sweet room/condo for the night! It was beautiful and we had so much fun.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Just wanted to say congratulations to the Carrolls! They are pregnant with baby number three and I am so excited for them. They have had a very eventful year... a move to Indidana, a new home, and now a new baby. I am secretly hoping for my first niece, but another boy will be great too!

MOTIVATION

Last year some friends and I ran the Salt Lake City Marathon's 5K. It motivated us to get going and take on another challange....the Moab 1/2 marathon. The annual Moab Marathon is in March and we are going to train our little tails off and brave the mini. I asked them if we could use those running shoes with little wheels and they said no... I dont know why, sounded good to me!

I have been tagged! (say it like that girl on Dennis the Menice, it sounds better) Aunt Fran tagged me and I really didn't know what that meant, so I searched some blogs and found out what I have to do...

I am supposed to name 6 things about myself that you might not know. Well, for those of you who "Really" know me, I think I am an open book and not too many secrets. But, maybe these will suprise you.

1) My biggest fear of all times is having to break down and buy cats. I live in fear of that everyday. If I have to buy my roommates at some future time, we are all in trouble!

2) My biggest addiction next to diet sodas and those baked cheddar snack mixes would be TARGET. Ask anyone we knows me where I buy EVERYTHING... I love that store!

3) I could stay in my fleece snow flake PJ's all day and be totally okay with not getting dressed (then I would feel guilty for being lazy) but not for having those PJ's on all day...

4) I never knew this about me, but a friend pointed out that I never undo all the covers. I like to sleep on one side of the bed, pillows aligned perfectly on the other side and never unmake the whole bed. I think this helps me feel good about having my bed made every morning. (oh, and I sleep with my hand curled up to my face... who knew!)

5) I secretly get mad inside when things are dirty and not cleaned to my expectations. I dont think this has anything to do with our Saturday "clean the house days!!!"

6) We all know that secretly I think Im latin... oh and I am awful with technology.

Sunday night Ashlee, Greg, Brad, Ponkey and I all went downtown to see the Christmas lights on Temple Square. This year seemed to have a few more lights, which was the perfect way to get into the Christmas Spirit!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Just wanted to wish you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING and tell you all how grateful I am to have you in my life. I love this time of year because it gives me a chance to reflect on my life and see my blessings more abundantly. I know I relate a lot back to my mission, but its a perspective that I now have for how truly blessed we are. Its a perspective I hope never to forget and one I hope to pass on to my own children. I am not sure why I was chosen to be born at this time, in this country, and to the family that I was... but I am grateful for all that I have been given. I am grateful for friends and family that love me and support me in all aspects of my life. Thanks for being apart of me! Have a Very Happy Thanksgiving.

SLEEPING BEAUTIES?

Beauties??? okay, well Im not sure that is the best word to use to describe this picture... Who takes a picture of themselves sleeping? Well, after a long night at Cheesecake Factory, lots of cheesecake and more food than we could handle... we went into what I like to call "FOOD COMA" Its where you over indulge and immediately put on your pjs and go to bed! Its so fun and really healthy for you... I promise, try it!

CHEESECAKE FACTORY

Its official we now have a Cheesecake Factory here in Utah! The nice part about it is how close it sits to our house. Our friend Nancy actually went and waited for a few hours so we could get a place. It was so yummy and the best part about it was the free cheesecake from our waiter! Im pretty sure you will need to come visit if you dont have one close to you...

This Halloween my roommates and I decided to bag the halloween parties and have our own little get together. We had a fun time playing games, eating homemade soup, and laughing all night. These are some of my roommates and I being silly....more to come.

GARDNER VILLAGE

This past weekend my roommates and I visited a place called Gardner Village for a witches night out. Its a place that has cute little shops and every Halloween they have a night for the witches. We got dressed up, but not like the other witches with green faces and green dresses. We had fun shopping, laughing, dancing, and looking at all the other witches around us.

BABIES?

I have to admit....Sometimes, I think it would be fun to have a child or two. But, just when I start thinking like that, I come across scary pictures like these and all my thoughts go away.

PEDICURES

This past Saturday my roomies and I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure. It was at one of those cheap asain places and we had so much fun! It is always hard to determine if they are talking about you or just laughing at you... to be determined. We did have fun and it was quite relaxing.

CABIN EXTERAVAGANZA

This past weekend the RS went up to Park City for a weekend get away. It turned out to be a fun little trip and we had a good turn out. It is so nice to have an Enrichment leader who is also an event planner take over. I love this delegation thing, it works really well, if you work it right! It was fun to get to know many new girls. Our ward is huge, so it is times like this that we actually get to really have some one on one time.

THE WEDDING

Here are some pictures of the wedding on Sept. 6, 2007. What a beautiful day it was for them. It was great to see family and feel of their love and suppport. GIRLS WEEKEND...

This weekend my girlfriends from Freshman and Sophomore year at the Y came out to visit. They came from Washington, Colorado, D.C., Arizona and Nevada. It was so fun to have a little reunion. I have not seen some of these girls in years. We spent some time shopping in Park City, chatting, eating and doing make overs. I cut some bangs, but thats nothing new... I mean cutting on my own hair. Everyone looked great and it was so fun to hear about everyone's families and see pictures of all the little ones. We even whipped out the old picutres from back in the day.... seriously WHAT where we thinking???? Such a fun weekend.

SASSY BRIDE!

She did it! Alyssa and Bruce Joray where married in the Nauvoo Temple on Sept.6, 2007. She looked beautiful and the wedding was amazing. It was so fun to see old friends and catch up with the family. Thank you to all who came out to support our family!

THE CABIN...

This is the cabin were we stayed. It was a real cabin, which made it even more exciting. We had fun hanging out, eating, eating some more, and talking. Good times had by all.
