This past sunday I was released as RS President. It was a bitter-sweet thing for me. I felt much the same way I did upon being released as a missionary. It is a feeling of having some sort of burden lifted off your shoulders at the same time sadness for not being able to serve in this capacity anymore. I will miss serving the girls in this ward, but I feel like it was time. I feel a sense of peace and gratitude for a wonderful year spent in the service to the sisters in our ward. I am not sure what is next, but I feel like a free bird flying around for a moment. I know this will last a week and I will be left scratching my head as to the next thing....

This was taken on my trip to LA. This is an old friend from Salt Lake, Amberlie, she is so much fun. She is now in law school in San Diego and I miss her. It was so fun to see her! We only took one pic.... from LAX airport.. lame!
