Is This My Life?

So, I just wanted to share a little story that may brighten your day. I went to take my daily nap... of course. I have not been working out as much as I would like, so the pants are fitting a little tighter these days. Naturally, I unbuttoned and unzipped them to be more comfortable. I woke up a bit later and totally forgot about my pants. As I was getting on the elevator to go back to my office, one of the Fidelity Investment guys (who happens to be very attractive) reminded me that I had my pants undone. Don't worry you could see "G's" and all! So, I ask the question... Is this really my life? I am not sure.

I hope your day is going as well as mine :)

PS. Unfortunately, there will be no pictures for this post...

TWINS?

This past weekend I got to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma. We went to watch the "Tree of Life" put on by BYU-Idaho orchestra. They did a wonderful job and I was impressed with the talent of that small group. Afterwards, we had dinner, and then as you can imagine Ponkey pulled me into his bedroom to show me a few pictures on his computer. I came across this one. Can you guess who this is? Its Chris and I at the pool in 1982. I cannot believe how much we looked alike. The sad part is, he kept growing. I had a lot of fun looking at old pictures and remembering the good ol' days. I always enjoy my time with them. They made me dinner, and then Grandma and I had a jewelry party. I dont know if you ladies know this or not, but she has some pretty cool stuff stashed away in her closet! Life in SLC is still plugging along. Last Saturday I started a Scuba diving class with some friends. I will be certified in 3 weeks (well, that is if I pass the test!). Then, I think it will be time to plan a trip and put everything I have learned to use... any takers?....Tom and April?

Little P Man

Can I just tell you I love being an aunt! It has been so fun to be this close to my nephew. I got to spend some bonding time with Preston at this age, and it is such a fun time. This past weekend I got to spend with Nat, Q and Little P-man. He is such a sweet baby and I have truly enjoyed getting to know him better. He is becoming aware of this outside world and loves to listen to peoples voices. He grows every time I see him. I think I am just trying to become his favorite aunt, so that is really why I spend so much time with him! He truly is an angel and I love that I get to be this close to him at this time in his life.

BLOGGING

So, last night I was talking to my friend about blogging. I was telling him about how much fun it has been and how he should jump on the bandwagon. As we were talking he didnt say much. I was thinking that he may be buying into it. When I asked him what he was thinking he responded by saying, "Ash, Blogging is like the new Knitting."

So, needless to say... my prayers last night went a little something like this...

"Please dont let me be that lady with 9 cats!"

Giant in our City...

A "Giant in our City" pose with my friend Nate.
What a fun night....Some of the highlights were
meeting Thurl Bailey and John Stockton from the
Jazz and then running into (literally!) Elder Eyring.
