HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!
I wish I could be with all my family and friends today celebrating a day of freedom. As I was watching the fireworks last night, I was reminded of my mission in Argentina and the 4th of July spent there (3 years ago). I vividly remember standing on the balcony of my apartment complex in Buenos Aires holding an American Flag on the 4th of July. First, I remember thinking how proud I was to be a US citizen. Second, I remember thinking of all the blessings we enjoy as a result of living in the United States. I remember being so grateful not only for the freedoms we enjoy, but for the safety we feel in our country. I was also grateful for a democratic government that is not perfect, but one that countinues to fight for the rights of the people. This is not the scene in many countires and we have so much to be grateful for. I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. I love watching the fire works each year.

ANOTHER ONE....
Yep, She's amazing! Britt finished her third marathon in Oregon. I know this is way over due, but congrats on another strong finish... I am proud to be your sister (and even happier that I got the short legs that are not built for marathons!)
